Foot Foot is absolutely, positively, and with no doubt at all, a completely real made-up imaginary person. He asked me to tell you not to try his adventures at home, or you will spend a lot of time in your room, and you will definitely get a boo-boo. Probably more than one. You might even get a boo-boo-boo.
Princess Emily and Prince Max are a tiny little bit more real than Foot Foot, but are still made-up people. You probably will not want to try their adventures at home either.
